🌱 What the official rules say
The Pikmin Bloom Help Center explains how seedlings show up:
- Seedlings are sometimes found around the places you walked, and not every place gives one.
- They don't always appear right away. Some show up a while later.
- If you take few steps in a day, you may not find any.
- They're easier to find in places where you haven't found seedlings or Pikmin before.
- Walking in many different places is the main way to find more.
The Help Center doesn't list a speed limit for seedlings. So the bike-versus-car question comes from what players see.
🚲 What players notice on bikes and in cars
- Most players say they find clearly more seedlings walking or running.
- One player planted 15,000 flowers while cycling and got only 1–2 seedlings.
- Others have found seedlings in places they only drove through, so riding isn't always zero.
That fits the official rules: riding covers lots of places but adds few steps. Seedlings link to walking and to how many steps you take that day.
👟 How to get more seedlings from a trip
- Park or get off and walk around new areas at your stop.
- Planting flowers on a bike still works. Just don't count on seedlings from it.
⚠️ The bike and car results above are player experience from the Korean community. How seedlings appear is from the Pikmin Bloom Help Center.
