📍 Troubleshooting

A place isn't showing up in Pikmin Bloom's seedling search? Here's why

You're standing at a big museum or café, but it never appears when you check Places Nearby before using a Detector. Here's what's going on and what you can try.

🗺️ Why the place is missing

Before you use a Detector, the Places Nearby list shows which seedling categories it can find, and seedling categories are based on the map information for each spot. The official help notes that this map information may not always be up to date — which is why a new store can be missing or a closed one can still appear.

It isn't only new places. Players in the Korean community report spots open for years that still don't show — a large contemporary art museum in Busan that opened in 2018, or a big café outside the city that never gives Coffee Cup seedlings.

🙋 Can you add it yourself?

There's no button in Pikmin Bloom to add a place. The route players mention goes through Pokémon GO:

  1. Reach Trainer Level 35 in Pokémon GO (child accounts can't take part).
  2. At the spot, open Main Menu → Settings → Uploads → New PokéStop. You'll continue on the Wayfarer website.
  3. The community reviews your Wayspot nomination. Highly rated ones may be added to the shared real-world map.

Pokémon GO's help says accepted nominations may appear in its sister games. Players say an accepted spot can later show up in Pikmin Bloom after a map update — but not every nomination gets accepted, and it can take a long time.

💡 What you can do now

⚠️ A Wayspot nomination is not a guaranteed fix for Pikmin Bloom. Requirements are as of October 2026 and can change.

🌱 While you're waiting for the map to catch up…

Plenty of places already work. A pure spot is a location where only one decor type appears — the most reliable way to get the decor you're after.
