Mushroom refresh is moving to about 3 AM local time on October 5

If you time your mushroom runs around when mushrooms change type and size, that moment is about to shift. Here's what's changing and what it looks like in your time zone.

⏱️ What's changing

According to an in-game notice, starting October 5, 2026 at 00:00 UTC, the refresh time changes for mushrooms nobody has joined yet.

🌏 What that looks like in your time zone

Here's the current 18:00 UTC refresh converted to local time for early October 2026, next to the new refresh. In Asia and Australia, 18:00 UTC already falls on the next calendar day.

RegionCurrent refresh (18:00 UTC)From October 5
US Pacific (PDT)11 AMaround 3 AM
US Eastern (EDT)2 PMaround 3 AM
UK (BST)7 PMaround 3 AM
Central Europe (CEST)8 PMaround 3 AM
Japan / Korea (JST / KST)3 AMaround 3 AM
Taiwan (UTC+8)2 AMaround 3 AM
Sydney (AEST β†’ AEDT)4 AM, or 5 AM from October 4around 3 AM

Sydney moves to daylight saving time on October 4, so from that day until the change, the old 18:00 UTC refresh lands at 5 AM there.

πŸ“ Why Korea barely notices

18:00 UTC is already 3 AM KST, so for players in Korea this is effectively no change. Everyone else is affected depending on their time zone β€” in the Americas and Europe, the daily refresh moves from daytime or evening to the middle of the night.

πŸ’‘ What this means for you

⚠️ Times are approximate. The notice says the exact refresh time may vary slightly by region, and the table uses daylight saving rules as of early October 2026.

🌱 While you're out battling mushrooms…

Keep an eye out for pure spots nearby β€” locations where only one decor type appears, the fastest way to farm exactly the decor you want.
