Mushroom battles: what "free slot" and "paid slot" actually mean

🎫 Your daily free battles

Every player gets 3 free mushroom battles per day. This counter resets at local midnight. Those 3 "free slots" are the free battles you can join or start without spending anything.

👥 The 5-player cap

A mushroom battle can have up to 5 players join without anyone using a paid ticket. Once a battle already has 5 players, anyone who wants to join beyond that needs to use a Mushroom Recharge Ticket — that's a "paid slot."

🎟️ What a Mushroom Recharge Ticket does

A Mushroom Recharge Ticket lets you:

• Join a battle after you've already used your 3 free battles for the day, or
• Join a battle that already has 5 or more players in it.

There's no cap on how many extra players can join using tickets — only the free, ticket-less slots are limited to 5 players and 3 uses per day per player.

💡 Practical tips

• Save your 3 free battles for mushrooms you actually want to fight — once used, they're gone until the next local midnight.
• If a popular mushroom already has 5 players, you can still jump in with a ticket instead of waiting for a slot to open.
• During some special events, the free-battle rule can be adjusted — check the event's own details before assuming the usual limits apply.
